ADU Challenges and Opportunities through the Portland Lens
The Portland metro region has a long history of innovative land use policies focused on protecting farm and forest land and preserving livability in the face of growth. More recently a new challenge has emerged: affordability. Learn about the regulatory and advocacy efforts that have helped accessory dwelling units (ADUs) take off in Portland, and how this small but increasingly popular housing form is helping to meet the environmental, economic, and equity challenges associated with the region’s rapidly growing population.
This session qualifies for 1 CE for the Oregon Real Estate Agency and 1 Series A CE for the Construction Contractors Board (CCB)
