Biography
Margarette Leite is Associate Professor of Architecture and a Fellow of the Center for Public Interest Design at Portland State University (PSU) where she teaches building technology, materials research and community engaged design/build. Her work as an architect and educator is directed at creating community-engaged teaching and research-based initiatives that leverage community and industry partnerships to solve real world problems. She is currently engaged with the Institute for Sustainable Solutions at PSU in a new initiative aimed at crafting an all-inclusive accessory dwelling unit (ADU) design/management/financing package for lower income homeowners in the Portland area.
