Schuyler Smith is a registered architect in Oregon and Washington with 12+ years of experience in design and architecture.
After graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2003, he returned to the Pacific Northwest and settled in Portland. In 2013 he co-founded Polyphon Architecture & Design LLC, which has a focus on residential architecture and ADUs in particular. Polyphon has completed over 20 ADUs/accessory structures with many more in the design/permit phase.
Schuyler has worked closely with contractors, developers and homeowners on ADU issues and was part of the reworking of the City of Portland ADU code in 2015.
