Is this thing working? Measuring the effect of your housing tools and incentives
Code updates, zoning changes, incentives… cities across the country are taking steps to increase the supply of small and middle housing in their communities. But are these measures delivering results? This session will teach attendees how to track changes in their local housing supply, with a focus on the small and middle housing types that often disappear in the data. Panelists will share the best publicly available sources of information and demonstrate how to create custom data reports, plus some tips on how to improve how your city collects data from developers so that you get the information you need.
